Sterling silver, Art Deco-style table box with hinged lid, Sheffield, England, 1948, Walker & Hall - makers; has engine-turned, "stepped-up" lid; cedar lined; underside of box is bakelite. @5 1/2" x @3 1/4" x @2 1/4" (at highest point). Condition is good, with just a few very minor pinhead "dints" that are commensurate with age and use.
Sterling silver, heart-shaped picture frame, Dominick & Haff, New York, Ca. 1895.; decorated with cherubs, flowers, etc. Shield-shaped casrtouche has a script monogram that looks as if it is part of the design. There is a tiny hole in the hair of the bottom cherub(see photo), probably meant for a pin to anchor the silver to the green velvet backing. @8" high x @6 1/4" across; takes a @4" x @5" photo, showing @3 1/4" x @4" photo. Good condition.
