When the key is turned in the lock, the three bottles tilt forward, allowing easy access to them. Sterling silver-mounted green leather letter box, London, 1902, William Comyns - maker. "Five Angels in the Clouds" design in center of hinged lid; each corner of the lid has a silver mounted angel's face in profile. Escutcheon is sterling silver.
