SOLD 

Sterling silver-mounted hinged ebony "Trinkets" box, London, England, 1920. One corner mount is etched; the other is not. The word "Trinkets" is spelled out diagonally in script across the top of the box. Blue velvet lining on inside bottom of box. @6 1/4" (across) x @2" (high) x @3" (deep). Normal wear on wood, with a very, very slight curve to the rear panel.

Continental silver fish serving set, "fiddle and thread" pattern, Germany, Ca. 1900. Both knife and fork are pierced and etched, with a "cut-out" of a fish visible in the "blade" of the knife. A "shell" appears on the end of the handle of each, both on the back and front sides.The shell "motif" is continued above the blade of the knife and "bowl" of the fork on the back of each piece. Unusual English STERLING SILVER Corinthian column oil lamp that has been electrified. All original parts remain (e.g., wick "key," etc.) Has beautiful cut crystal oil font. Gadrooning on base. "Harp" is silverplated. 37 1/2" high; 6" base. Corinthian column itself is 16" high. Some soldering at point between capital and column of lamp. Hallmarked for Sheffield, England, 1902.

Magnificent, large, heavy gauge, sterling silver, cedar-lined (leather underside),humidor. Has two hinged compartments (one for cigars; the other probably for cigarettes, etc.)and an "omega" handle. Each compartment is emblazoned with a different armorial: a lion's head and a horse. The box bears the following inscription: "Presented to Bro. G.F. Lovely footed, round jewelry box, Birks Corp., Canada, Ca. 1900. Hinged lid has gadrooned border and "S" monogram in center. Underside of lid still has original vermeille. Box is lined with original light blue velvet which has fitted spaces for rings, brooches, etc. @3 1/2" diameter x @2 1/2" high. Nice condition.
