| Georgian cruet set in sterling silver frame, London, 1814, Samuel Hennel - maker. Oval cruet stand has reeded borders and foliate feet. Supports to the bottle holders are also foliate in design, each ending in a shell. Handle is supported by four fluted "swags" which end in foliage that supports a round "handle" that is ribbon and reed in design; there is a shell at the very top, "supported" by foliage. Frame has four round stopper holders. Of the four cut crystal bottles, three have matching stoppers; the fourth is very slightly different in height, but is a great match. Frame is @6 1/2" long x @5 1/2" wide x @9 1/4" high (to top of handle); bottles are @5" high (to top of stoppers) x @1 1/4" wide. | |||||||
