| Lovely sterling silver mantel clock, Reed and Barton, Taunton, Mass., Ca. 1915. Clock is supported by (and swivels on) two "pillars" which are decorated with foliate designs. The @9" x @2 1/4" base is decorated with acanthus leaves. Clock is (overall) @8 3/4" high x @6 1/2" wide (pillar to pillar). The clock itself is @7" tall and @5 1/2" wide; sides are partially decorated with bluebells and garlands; clock is backed in wood. Has "CD" monogram (in script)on base, but mono is almost entirely hiddden by "stem" of clock. In working order! | ||||||
