| Continental silver, Austrian six-piece coffee/tea service, consisting of: TEA POT (@6" high [to finial]x @11" across [spout to handle]), COFFEE POT (@7 1/2" high [to finial]x @8" across [spout to handle]), HOT WATER JUG (@5 1/4"high [to finial]) x @7" across), COVERED SUGAR BOWL (@4"high [to finial]x @6 1/2" wide [across handles]), CREAM JUG (@2 1/2" high x @5 3/4 across [spout to handle]), matching SILVER TRAY(@22" x 16"). An ivy leaf pattern decorates the upper edge of each piece. Tea and coffee pots have hinged lids that open horizontally rather than at right angles to the pots. Each piece is six-sided, each side being curved. Finials are "ball" shaped; handles are squared off. Coffee pot has small "ding" on the underside that is commensurate with age and use. Tray weighs 60 troy oz; entire set, with tray, weighs 135 troy oz. Ca. 1900. | ||||||||
