| Sterling silver, shell-shaped compote, standing on a dolphin-form pedestal base, Redlich Silver Co., New York (retailed at Frank Herschede & Co.), Ca. 1910. Shell is scalloped; dolphin is beautifully detailed. @8" high to top of handle; @9 1/2" from handle to end of shell. @3 1/2" across base.11.5 troy oz. Great condition.
