| Dutch silver-mounted double inkstand,year marked for 1926. Wells sit on a deep beige marble base. Base has beautiful graining,and has an unengraved silver placque. There is a groove for pens. Each crystal inkwell is mounted with a Dutch silver hinged lid.(Both placque and lids have same year mark). Each inkwell has a diamond cut base and a "bubble" for ink which are visible through the clear, tinted crystal. @13 3/4" long x @8" deep. One or two "nibbles" on underside of front marble corners (not visible) and one almost invisible "nibble" on top rear corner of one inkwell (see photo)commensurate with age and use.
