The Victorian Necessaire is a small treasure. It measures 1 3/4 inches by 2 1/2 inches and has a loop to attach it to a chain or chatelaine. A small lip on the inside would hold possibly beauty patches or something of similar size in place. It has a monogram: AJS. It is marked "Sterling" and "PAT A.R.T. Mfg Co. Pat. Re. Nov 29 - 1904".

The antique German silver purse is elaborately engraved both back and front. The front is inset with a smoky topaz "stone". This purse dates from around 1910 and has quite a history. It comes from an antique shop in New Orleans that was flooded during Hurricane Katrina. As a result the inside leather and metal is water damaged and need tender restoration. The English Sheffield 2-piece buffet serving set has a large flat server and a 4-tine fork. The large flat server measures 12 1/4 inches long and the oval-shaped blade is engraved and measures 6 inches by 3 inches across. The fork is 10 1/4 inches long and is engraved below the tines which measure 2 1/4 inches across and 2 1/2 inches long. The engraved area on the fork measures 1 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inches. This beautiful cut-steel bead purse was hand-made and owned by one owner. The brown iridescent cut-steel beads glimmer and glow as they catch the light. The purse is silk lined and attached to a brass frame. It has a double-loop fringe of beads and a 15 inch chain. The purse measures 9 1/2 inches by 6 inches and dates from c. 1900 - 1910. Just in time for the holiday parties!
