The sterling silver lizard brooch measures 3 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. It is marked"Mexico Sterling TS-78 925". This would indicate that it was made in Taxco, Mexico and S-78 is the silversmith's mark. It would date from 1978 or a little later. There is a contrasting metal stripe running along the back of the lizard or iguana which helps emphasize the sinuous movement of the piece.

The timeless design of the hollow core sterling silver bracelet has an etched pattern on the front half with an area in the center for engraving. Measured lying down, the bracelet is 2 5/8 inches by 2 3/8 inches. It measures 6 1/2 inches around the inside when it is closed.
