The sterling silver bowl is 1 3/4 inches tall including the knob at the top and is 1 3/4 inches across. The small footed bowl dates from c 1960s and was probably intended to serve sweetener tablets. It could be used as a salt cellar too. The bowl is marked Sterling and WEB. The size and proportion of the bowl makes it a perfect miniature.

The English sterling silver salt shakers are hallmarked: Anchor/Lion/E which indicates that they were made in Birmingham, England in 1929. There is also a maker's mark. The slat shaker is 2 3/4 inches tall and we have two available. One has a very small dent and there is some very slight pitting. They are a really useful and attractive pair.

The footed sterling silver salt with the blue enameled bowl was made in Denmark. It measures 1 7/8 inches across the top and 7/8 inches tall. The salt dates from c. 1950s. There is one pit in the center of the blue bowl that was, no doubt, caused by using it with salt.

The sterling silver salt is scalloped in a shell-like pattern. The small salt measures 1 1/2 inch in diameter and 5/8 inch tall. It is footed and has a good patina. The salt dates from c 1920.

The sterling silver decanter tags are marked "Sterling MAPPIN" and measure 1 7/8 inches by 1 1/4 inches with a 6 1/2 inch chain for hanging over the decanter. We have two tags available. Both tags are slightly curved. One of the tags is for "Cointreau" and the other is for "Kummel". The tags date from c 1960.

The silver plated gravy boat is 7 1/2 inches long including the handle, 3 1/2 inches across and 4 1/4 inches tall including the handle. The gravy or sauce boat dates from c 1950. There is slight wear on the bottom of the inside and on the bottom near one foot. The gravy boat has a decorative edge and is a very pleasing shape.

The English Sheffield silver plated sugar and creamer set is marked "Made in England" and dates from c 1920. The interiors are gold washed. The sugar measures 8 1/2 inches long including the handles, 4 inches across and 4 1/2 inches tall including the handles. The creamer is 5 1/2 inches long including the handle, 3 inches across and 3 1/4 inches tall including the handle. A handsome pair.

The sterling silver creamer and sugar set date from the 1920s. The style is plain and elegant. The sugar bowl is 3 5/8 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The creamer is 3 5/8 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches in diameter. Each piece is marked "Sterling. Cement Filled Base" and there is EL-SIL-Co in a diamond. There are a couple of small indentations in the sugar and a very small indent in the creamer. Other than that they are in great condition and a very attractive pair.

The ladle has a sterling silver handle marked "Sterling" and measures 12 inches long. The sterling silver handle is 3 3/4 inches long and the bowl of the ladle is 5 1/2 inches by 3 1/4 inches. This beautiful and elegant ladle could be used for punch or egg nog and dates from the 1950s. It would look equally good in a silver or glass bowl.

The English Sheffield silver tray is oval in shape and has heavy engraving and a festooned edging. The tray measures 18 inches by 11 1/2 inches. The marking reads: a corporate mark with crown, Alpha under the crown, The Cutlers Company 1836, Alpha Plate Viners of Sheffield England, Chased. The tray dates from c 1910 - 1920.
