A Very Fine Tibetan Prayer Wheel—Very detailed work, Complete and solid. Fully functional. Handle is fashioned from yak bone. The crown at the top in the form of a lotus bud is of ivory. Lotus bud is crowned with a fine turquoise dome. The wheel cylinder is of very finely crafted silver and decorated with a combination of Lapis Lazuli, Coral, and Turquoise . A Chinese cricket gourd (or cage) with finely molded gourd body, hardwood rims (walnut and rosewood) and a tortoise shell cap. The box is crowned with an intricately carved tortoise shell slightly domed cap depecting two cranes with small ivory dot eyes sitting among pine branches.
