Very Fine example of a betel box or “ kun it “ in the of the ' yathi or yati yok" pattern . Tis box features 1 internal original tray . Yathi refers to the 12 figures of the zodiac and eight planets or days of the week. The Burmese divide Wednesday into forenoon and afternoon in order to facilitate the allocation of a day to each point of the compass. Complete Chao Guan, Final of a 6 TH Rank With Matching Dan yan hua ling Ling Holder, Hat Box and Folding Paktong Hat Stand Hat of very fine woven bamboo with silk tassels and a taunt silk covering and rimed with a double brocade. The finial and gilded base in excellent condition. It is lined with gauze. A stiffened red silk covered sweat band inside attached to a finely woven split bamboo crown cradle. General wear of use on leather box with no damage.
