| This is a very early, traditional cabinet used for storing objects related to Buddhist ceremonies.Red lacquer over elmwood. It’s origin is Shanxi province. This style can be seen depicted in paintings, pottery and funerary objects dating back to the 16th century. Qianlong Period, Qing Dynasty circa late 17th-early 18th century. Original hardware and construction consistent of this period. Heavy remnants of the original lacquer. Excellent condition. | ||||||||
