| A large opium pipe of the type that requires no damper, consisting of a slightly curved bamboo tube terminating at one end with a brass mouthpiece and the other with a saddle fashioned from overlaying copper and brass which also functions as a built in damper. The brass mouthpiece is concave at the end to allow assist in smoking. Around the top bowl is a flower design meant to represent a blooming peony (representative of nobility and value). On each side is the image of a fish (symbolic of abundance) fashioned in brass. At the back of the saddle is the image of a bat (symbolic of good fortune) fashioned in brass.
