In this painting, a beauty is holding her usual fan, leaning against a table where a lamp is sitting. On the upper right of the painting a famous phrase was quoted - "The river and mountain is as beautiful as a still picture." This phrase is clearly referring to the woman who is also as pretty as a picture to the painter.
