Quite a unique small enamel expansion purse with two hand painted panels showing gorgeous floral motifs. One side has a large bouquet of varied multi colored flowers with another bouquet on the back, but somewhat smaller. Colors are are excellent. The sides of the purse are of a red leather, with the accordion inside a delicate pink silk. The paintings are enameled, not on porcelain, with the surround on both edges a gilded embossed metal. A truly exquisite small purse.
Condition: Very good. Some wear as shown to the red leather on the bottom. Purse closes solidly.
Size: Width- 3 1/8 inches. Height- 2 1/4 inches.

Elaborate handpainted Swiss enamel snuff box.
It is enameled on all sides, as well as the inside, in varying interesting designs.
The top has a scene of Romantic lovers, the sides have multi colored scrolls with a cherub in the center.
The bottom has cherubs in clouds, and the insides have scenes with antique buildings.
There are touchmarks, which are an A in a shape, and makers marks F.W.
It is silver gilt around the opening and the hinge.
A lovely box with exceptional enamel work.
Size: 2 by 1 1/2 by 5/8
Condition: Very Good.
Tiny bit of discoloration on bottom. Almost invisible.

This is a wonderful 18th century Bilston, or Battersea, enameled quadrille set. The game of quadrille consisted of seven hundred counters per person, with four players and the pool. This set is made up of five baskets. Four for the individual players, and the largest one for the pool. All the containers are enameled on copper with a central motif of playing cards. The largest basket has a more elaborate group of cards, as well as the tariff card, which shows the insignia and letters of George the Third. Also on the pool basket is some writing indicating that this game was authorized by the Governor & Company of the Bank of England - John Bridger, who was the head of the Bank of England in the 18th century. In addition, there is a promise by A. Cooper to pay the Bank of England the amount of 100 guineas. Really a very historical and rare set.
The baskets are a delicate pink enamel on copper with all the decoration hand painted.
Condition: All of the baskets have enamel flaws as can be seen to some extent in the pictures. The set could be restored, but that would be up to the discretion of the buyer. Coloring is bright and good, with some wear on the Georgian coins in the central basket.
Size: Smaller baskets- 3 3/4 X 3 1/4 X 1 inch.
Large basket- 5 X 4 1/4 X 1 1/4 inches.

This is a quite unusual antique Battersea enamel cloakpeg with a transfer print in black and white of a gentleman, or possibly royalty, on the face. The enamel is set in an ornate brass frame with a long stemmed screw back. Very attractive.
Condition: Some minor hairlines. No enamel loss. Brass in quite good condition for the age.
Size: 2 1/8 X 1 3/4 inches. Length: front to end of screw- 2 7/8 inches.

This is a quite rare 18th C. Bilston Battersea enamel patch, or snuff, box. Enamel on copper and with different hand painted flowers on all sides. The bottom is also decorated with a bee, or fly. This charming little box has gilded metal fittings.
Condition: Some wear to the bottom four corners due to age. Enamel hairline crack on the top and inside, and age discoloration to the metal. For a piece of this type, the box is in remarkably good shape for its age. Colors are bright and clear.

A beautiful antique, Faberge style, guilloche enamel table clock with bronze scrolled bows and tassel highlights on the face. The guilloche enamel is a rich lavender color and is framed with a decorative silver gilt edge. The clock has a white enamel face with fancy hands, and the back is made of rich rosewood with matching stand.
On one side of the frame are the numbers 13327, and on the other side are touchmarks. One may be an eagle’s head, and the other is indistinct. The piece is probably French, but is very much in the Faberge style. Definitely antique, C.1890. Wonderful rich colors, and magnificent enamel work.
Condition: Fine, and in working condition.
Size: Clock- diameter 1 ½ inches. Frame- 5 ¼ X 4 inches.

This is a complete set of six guilloche enameled metal buttons and a large rectangular enameled buckle in their original leather covered case. Enamel is a rich cobalt blue with incised gold highlights and the design work is magnificent. The buttons could be used as dress buttons, or as cufflinks. Attachments for the buttons are complete. Buckle is very dramatic in appearance. Quite rare to have the set complete and in its original case.
Condition: Excellent. Minor wear on the box.
Size: buttons- 5/8 inch in diameter; buckle- 2 ¾ X 1 5/8 inches; box- 4 5/8 X 4 3/8 X 7/8 inches.
