This is a fascination Georgian flower basket charm, made of either Coquilla nut, or vegetable ivory. I am not positive which. Beautifully crafted as a tiny turned basket with silver wires around the circumference and silver raised dots. The material has lighter and darker areas, and the swinging handle is of twisted silver wire. The tiny basket holds a bouquet of varied flowers of mixed metal. Exceptionally crafted piece.

A very interesting pair of Georgian bracelet clasps with opening backs. The design is of gilded metal flowers and leaves in high relief. The clear crystal centers open from the back by releasing a small hook, allowing a small miniature, or lock of hair, to be placed inside. Each clasp has a tongue in groove closure which allows the clasps to be completely useable, and very striking in appearance. Unusual early pieces - dating 1790 to 1820.
Condition: Very good. Minor age wear.
Size: 1 7/8 X 1 5/8 inches.

This is a wondeful set of unusual grey and blueish stone buttons set in 800 silver with silver shanks. The stones are of a very unusual marbled and veined color. Perhaps a type of Jasper. The six buttons are in their original box which is marked in German with gold lettering- Helene Nowak Jewelry, and the names of German spa locations. Each of the buttons is quite distinctive, with a different vein pattern and color in each.
Condition: Minor flaws on the stone surface, which is understandable in this type of veined mineral. Bar missing, which could have been used as a collar fastener. Box has exterior aging / water marks, but interior is fine.
Size: Buttons- ½ inches across, and approx. ½ inch high, including shank. Box- 3 ¾ x 2 5/8 x ¾ inch.

This is a quite rare, and unusual, early 19th century six panel handpainted bracelet with a different bird in each panel. I have been purchasing and collecting antique and vintage jewelry for thirty years, and have not come across a bracelet like this before. Each of the handpainted birds is set in a silver surround with a beveled glass front, linked together, and fastened with a box clasp. The image detail is excellent, and each panel is unique. It appears as if the birds are from different countries, as one is a parrot, one a peacock, and another a waxwing. It is impossible to tell what the birds are painted on, but it doesn't appear to be paper. Possibly ivory. This is truly a collectors piece.
Condition: Glass has some minor surface wear under magnification. One bird has been professionally re handpainted. Colors are delicate, but vibrant.
Size: Length- 7 inches. Largest panel -height 1 3/8 inches, width 1 inch.

An unusual cherub design mourning locket of gutta percha, or vulcanite. Surround is a black lacquered metal with a ball design around the circumference. The center shows an image of a sweet cherub in quite high relief, holding what appear to be grapes. There is a small relief grip on the edge, which enables the locket to be opened. Back is beveled glass, and at present holds an old photograph, but could hold a locket of hair or a miniature. The piece has its original bale and silk grosrain ribbon.
Condition: Some color loss to the metal, and the ribbon a bit frail.
Size: Locket- 1 3/8 X 1 inch. (not counting bale). Ribbon- 10 ¾ inches top to bottom
