Exquisite antique Mizpah brooch done in three colors of gold. I have had these brooches in silver, but never in gold and with such an intricate design. The word Mizpah is an emotional bond between people who are separated. Mizpah jewelery is worn to signify this bond, and was common in Victorian times as a type of blessing, or good luck.
The piece is hallmarked – Birmingham 1888, and has its original C clasp and pin. Really an exceptional brooch with the three colors of gold.
Condition: Fine.

This is a stunning Etruscan Revival 15Kt gold brooch and earrings set with wonderful Etruscan granulation, and featuring a relief design of herons standing in rippled water. The set has been tested 15Kt gold, with either platinum, or white gold, to highlight the water. The gold work in the set is magnificent.
The matching earrings have elaborate tops, and shepherds hooks as fasteners. The tops are attached to the body of earrings by a swivel pin to allow them to swing back and forth.
Exceptional quality pieces like this were done by Tiffany, however there are no markings on the set at all.
Condition: Fine. Rich color to the gold and platinum.
Size: Brooch: width-2 5/8 inches. Height- 7/8 inch.,
Earrings: Height- 1 ½ inches to top of shepherds hook.

This is an exquisite antique hardstone cameo of carved agate set in a beautiful white gold, seed pearls, and diamonds frame. Design shows the profile of a classical lady, with long ringlets and leaves carved in her hair. Carving detail is excellent. The pin and safety catch are original, and the bale folds down so it can be hidden if the cameo is to be worn as a brooch, or as a pendant. Really an exceptional cameo.

This is a very pretty tested 14Kt textured gold basket brooch pendant, decorated with green enameled leaves and three red, green, and blue glass flowers. The brooch has an original pin, clasp, and a bale at the top which forms the handle of the flower basket. A very attractive piece.

Lovely unusual antique two sided bird pendant, with the surround testing 14 kt gold. One side features an elaborately colored bird perched on a leafy branch. The bird and branch are designed in feathers against a burgundy background. The reverse side shows a delicate flamingo standing in a tuft of grass, again the design is completely done in feathers against a white background. This very attractive and interesting piece has a bale at the top to allow it to be worn on a chain.
Condition: A bit of minor water damage to the painted backgrounds. Feathered birds are not affected at all, and the colors are bright.

This is a lovely antique shell pique pendant locket from the Victorian era. The piece is made of natural shell and inlaid with gold in a delicate leaf, flower, and vine design. There is a cartouche in the center for initials if so desired. The locket opens, and has a metal framed glass partition on both halves for pictures. Bale is a part of the locket. Quite unusual to find a locket in this material, especially with such quality and rich color.
Condition: Excellent.
Size: Height- 1 7/8 inches to top of the bale. Width- 1 ¼ inches.

This is a beautiful Victorian chalcedony and gold brooch done in a leaves and grape cluster design. The piece is tested 9 kt gold with a delicate border framing a beveled oval of chalcedony. The central gold design of leaves, vines, and a turquoise grape cluster is pinned to the chalcedony, giving it a high relief effect. Original C clasp, pin, and added safety pin and chain. Very wearable and pretty.
Condition: Beautiful.
