A very pretty antique turquoise enamel locket with a gold design on the front and a seed pearl in the center. Back has a plain turquoise enamel face. The locket closes firmly and opens fairly easily, and the interior has two sections to display either pictures, or a lock of hair. No glass or celluloid on the inside.
A very attractive and wearable piece.
Condition: A bit of age wear on the metal and enamel, but overall very good with no damage.
Size: 1 1/8" X 3/4 ".

This is a gorgeous cobalt blue satsuma pendant, with a metal top and ring to enable it to be worn on a chain. The deep rich blue is highlighted with gold, and blue and lavender enamel work. The floral design continues around the circumference and there is a small bird and butterfly on the bottom. An exquisite pendant that would be perfect on a rich gold chain.
Condition: Very good.

I have not seen a Scottish gold and agate mourning brooch like this before. The design is of a shield with a crown on top, and the body has been tested as 9 kt gold. There is a registration mark on the back, but the date mark area is worn and difficult to read. Carnelian, green, and moss agate stones are on the face of the shield, and natural pearls are inset on the top of the crown, which is an unusual feature in itself. In the center of the open face shield is a memorial hair insert with a lock of hair with a few small pearls and twist of gold wire.
A very attractive and unique Scottish brooch.
Condition: Very good. Under magnification there is a bit rubbing to the glass face of the mourning insert.

A very attractive antique gold and carnelian stone stickpin in its original box. Retailed by Birks, a famous jewelry company in Canada. Design is a cabochon carnelian in the center inset in a bezel with a rope twist edge. Outside frame is heavily engraved with scroll work. Reverse of the pin is marked "14kt Birks", as well as the box. The pin has a bulldog with it, but is not gold.
Condition: Very nice.
Size: Length- 2 5/8 inches. Top section- 5/8 X 1/2 inch.

A beautiful silver and 9 to 10 kt gold brooch with an enamel crown and rose. Rose is circled with a blue enamel belt with the motto "honi soi qui mal y pense". The crown is surmounted with a flames design in silver and diamonds. The motto was that of The English Order of the Garter, as well as that of several British and Canadian regiments. This piece was very likely a sweetheart brooch of one of those regiments. A very lovely piece in rich colors and bright diamonds.
Condition: Very nice.

An early 19th century hair brooch in the shape of a snake biting its tail, which is a symbol for eternity.
The snake's body is textured in a fine criss cross pattern which is very effective, and the hair in the crystal center is in two colors forming an interesting design, almost like moss agate. Tested 14K gold.
Lovely historical piece, with the original C clasp and pin.
Size: 1 1/8 by 3/4.
Condition: Very good.
Small trace of solder under original c clasp.

This is a very attractive gold filled slide for an antique chain, with a small agate cameo on the face. The piece could also be used as part of a slide bracelet. Overall design of the slide is a shield, with a small hardstone cameo carving of a man in the center. Intricate scroll work on the face. Reverse side is plain as shown.
Condition: Good. Under magnification a small rub on the black, but not visible to the naked eye.

Exquisitely carved antique cameo of the Greek Goddess Nike set in its original wire work gold frame.
The workmanship on the piece is beautiful down to the fine details on the horses manes and reins. Nike is shown above the clouds with a shield below her foot and holding the reins of three horses. Original C clasp and pin. Really a quality cameo with rich colors.
Condition: Some original stress marks on the background, otherwise lovely.
