This is a rare historical combination of a Georgian Queen Anne wooden doll c. 1830 owned by Mary Walker, and a 1835 sampler that was made by her at the same time as she owned the doll. The doll comes with the paper box she was stored in for many years, although not of the same age as the doll. The doll has her legs professionally replaced, but other than that, is all original with a gorgeous printed cotton dress, and straw hat. Hair styling is original, as well as the paint, Dresden paper bracelets, and leather hands. An exceptional doll.
Just as lovely is the 1835 sampler Mary Walker created, which in itself is a wonderful piece of art. The sampler is fully detailed, with a house, animals, birds, flowers, trees, and is signed 'Daughter Mary Walker 1835'. The message describes the hopes and love of a daughter for her parents.
Condition: Doll- Professionally replaced legs, as mentioned. Minor wear, and the dress material a bit frail. Sampler- Very nice. Very minor discoloration.
Size: Doll-height- 14 inches.
Sampler- approx. 14 X 12 inches sight size. 18 X 16 inches framed.

Lovely evening purse, decorated with metal beads in two colors of silver to form diagonal parallels on the surface. Between these lines are bezel set rhinestones. The handle is also beaded, and there is a flexible metal rod to give to give support to the bag opening. The purse has a flap to cover the opening and the interior is gray suede with a snap closure. A very elegant evening bag.
Condition: Very good. A bit of restitching where the handle joins the purse and a small area of lipstick stain on the interior, but nothing to detract from the appearance.
Size: 5 3/4 X 4 1/2 inches when flap closed. Height to top of handle- 9 1/2 inches.

A very unusual vintage metal toy gun called "Mexican Repeater" that is either a pea shooter, or shoots small pellets. Estimate the age to be approximately 1910, or a few years either way. Not marked as to a manufacturer. An interesting feature of the gun is that the trigger is beveled on the right side to better fit a right handed shooter. A great collectors piece.
Condition: Very good condition with no rust.
Size:Length- 6 1/2 inches.
