This is a lovely vintage J. Chien & Co. wind up alligator with a native boy on its back. The piece is in excellent condition, with all original paint and in working order. The toys original box says.. Mechanical Alligator Mfr'd by J. Chien & Co. Harrison, NJ. No. 140. Made in USA. Really a very nice working toy.
Condition: As described in description with some very minor paint loss in mouth of the alligator. Box is a bit bit worn, with one end missing and the other missing two flaps.
