A very nice Wahl Eversharp green marbled Gold seal Doric pen with a number 7 nib. Marked on the nib ' Made in USA, Eversharp, Adjustable'. Pocket clip is also marked 'Made in USA', as is the top cap in addition to 'Eversharp'. The pen has a plunger filler mechanism. Beautiful rich colors.
Condition. Very good. Plunger seems a bit stiff, but does pull in and out. I am not an expert on pens, but this seems to be in quite good condition with no cracks, scratches, or obvious dents to the barrel and cap. There is a fine horizontal hairline about 1 cm on the black plastic of the nib holder which fades out on each side. The gold nib appears fine and the adjustable slide works. Colors bright.
Size: Length- 5 inches. Nib- #7

A truly wonderful Satsuma necklace consisting of thirteen plaques of different scenes. The motifs include Samurai in elaborate costumes with raised gold work, Geishas in colorful outfits, chrysanthemums, and birds perched on flowering branches. The detail work is so amazing that it is difficult to describe each plaque, as all are different. Really an amazing group. The backs are silver colored with a Japanese mark on each one, and the plaques are joined by links so that the piece could be expanded if necessary. The links are longer by one loop one one side, so the piece falls well as a necklace. Closure is by a hook and loop. It does have to be placed a bit wide on the neck, and then falls beautifully. Each of the plaques is really a small work of art.
Condition: Very nice.
Size: Length-22 inches. Largest plaque- 1 7/8 inches in diameter. Others - 1 1/2 inches.

The porcelain quality is wonderful on this small porcelain candle snuffer figure with an Orientalist face, top knot, and delicate coloring. Costume consists of a flowing gown with pierced holes in a ruffled collar. The holes appear to be through the collar only, but in fact go into the body. I would imagine this was to let the smoke escape when the figure was placed over the candle. The only mark to be found is a small red 20 on the interior of the body. Really a very sweet piece.
Condition: Fine.
Size: Height- 2 1/8 inches.

This is a beautiful vintage chocolate box by J S Fry & Sons in a rich blue velvet with gold metal trimmings. Originally must have contained only the finest selection of chocolate confections. The top lid and bottom edges are covered in a rich blue velvet with the sides in blue silk. The corners are of 9kt gold, and there is a lovely decorative handle and clasp. Interior of the box is a white paper with an advertisement for J S Fry & Sons Manufacturer to the King, and with a blue velvet insert on the bottom. The piece dates to Edwardian times and brings back memories of a different age.
Condition: Some reddish stains on the inside which are covered by the blue insert and were probably from candies. Minor velvet and silk aging, but nothing that detracts from the appearance.
Size: 14 X 4 X 1 3/4 inches.
