A very lovely hand painted Victorian cheroot case, painted on both sides with different scenes. This is the last of these wonderful cases I have owned. The other side shows three people on a balcony, looking out to sea at a sailboat in the moonlight. The sides of the case are made of leather with an inside paper case to hold cheroots, or thin cigars. Very detailed paintings in deep ...click for details

The suite can be changed by rotating a textured bezel on the moveable r ...click for details

A commemorative straw hat of the Pax Concordia of the early 1900's. This straw boater hat has an elegant silk band around the crown and a silk interior with a leather head band. The unusual feature of the hat are portraits of four of the European leaders of that time, who presumably were signatories of the Pax Concordia. King George V, Czar Nicholas II, King Albert I of Belgium, and Raymond Poincare of France.
Not sure of the exact name of the treaty, as there were many around that time. ...click for details
