Very attractive Japanese leather embossed tobacco purse with a design of flowers that have been subtly dyed in pale greens and reds. Clasp is an elaborate brass pair of flowers. Handle consists of of a group of chains, and a Kagamibuta of brass and celluloid at the end. The interior of the purse is a printed Japanese cotton, and the purse closes with a snap that fits into a brass plaque. Condition: Cotton interior is slightly soiled, otherwise purse is very nice, Size: purse- 5 3/8 X 4 inches. Length to top of Kagamibuta is 9 1/2 inches. |
