A lovely antique Chinese seal with a small inset silver diamond design, in the original case. I am not sure of the material of the seal, but would be either celluloid or ox bone. Also in the case is a small wood framed box with sealing wax residue. The container is a leather covered metal box with a cotton and red velvet interior. An unusual and attractive piece. Condition: Bit of discoloration to the cotton material, otherwise, very nice. Size: box- 2 3/4 X 1 1/4 inches. seal- 1 1/4 X 3/8 inch. |
