A very elegant sterling silver perfume bottle, marked with a lion and the mark for silver, Exeter in England, 1837. This was the first year of Queen Victoria's reign. A very simple elegant, and sleek design.
The top is secured by a tongue in groove lip, and attaches the top really well. A fabulous piece. Condition: Very nice. Bit of discoloration under magnification where the neck meets the body. This is original to the way the piece was joined. No dents, or scratches. Size: 2 1/8 X 1 7/8 inches. |
