This is a very sweet, wearable brooch.
It is 15 kt gold with ruby eyes, pearl and sapphire wings, and a doublet jewel to look like a large sapphire in the center of the body.
The quality is lovely and it could be worn on delicate or heavier material. Workmanship is exceptional. The piece comes in an old leather covered box, but I am not sure if it is original to the brooch. Condition: Fine Size: Width of pin 1 ¼ inches. Width of fly- ¾ inch. Height – 5/8 inch. |
