This is a very pretty antique glass beaded purse with a wide assortment of colored beads throughout. Design shows a pair of colorful blue birds with a theorem basket of flowers in a small and large motif. An unusual feature of the piece is an openwork pattern of beads between the top and bottom solid sections. The purse has a satin lining, pockets, and a drawstring closure. Beaded fringe with an openwork pattern at the top. Beautiful workmanship. Condition: Very good. Small amount of bead replacement in a couple of places on the openwork. Images give a very good representation. Size: 11.5 X 7 inches. |
