Lovely unusual antique two sided bird pendant, with the surround testing 14 kt gold. One side features an elaborately colored bird perched on a leafy branch. The bird and branch are designed in feathers against a burgundy background. The reverse side shows a delicate flamingo standing in a tuft of grass, again the design is completely done in feathers against a white background. This very attractive and interesting piece has a bale at the top to allow it to be worn on a chain.
Condition: A bit of minor water damage to the painted backgrounds. Feathered birds are not affected at all, and the colors are bright. Size: Diameter: 1 ½ inches |
