Wonderful antique cut steel necklace comprised of individual cut steel pieces riveted onto a metal back, as was common to early cut steel pieces. The central five sections are three dimensional, with each of the flower petals having two layers to give this effect. Each of the small cut steel pieces are faceted, with twelve facets to each piece. The other fifteen smaller flowers are one dimensional, and the clasp is tongue in groove with a cut steel top. A truly lovely antique necklace. Condition: Some age wear to the shine of the cut steel. Size: length- 17 inches. Diameter of the largest flower is - 1 1/4 inches. |
