Exquisitely carved antique cameo of the Greek Goddess Nike set in its original wire work gold frame.
The workmanship on the piece is beautiful down to the fine details on the horses manes and reins. Nike is shown above the clouds with a shield below her foot and holding the reins of three horses. Original C clasp and pin. Really a quality cameo with rich colors. Condition: Some original stress marks on the background, otherwise lovely. Size: 2 1/2 X 2 1/8 inches. |
