A pretty antique automaton with a bisque head dancing girl doll that pirouettes on the top of a beautiful wood case. The bisque head doll has a closed mouth, inset glass eyes, and a fancy blonde mohair wig under a pearl and lace hat. She has wooden, or composition, painted limbs and her original clothes. When the automaton is wound, and the off/on switch is selected, music plays and the doll dances in a circles with her arms an legs moving as if she were dancing.
A very sweet automaton. Condition: Doll perfect and all original, but dress is frail. Music and motion in working condition. Size: Doll- height-7 inches. Box- height - approx. 4.5 inches. |
