A very sweet brooch, and a bit unusual as it has a memorial dedication inscribed on the gold back. The center stone is a lovely amber banded agate with a gold surround of delicate flowers and leaves in relief.
Original C clasp and pin. Dedication- ' Mary Shutt, OB 8th August 1835, age 79'. Condition: very good. Size: 1 1/8 X 7/8 inch. |
