Lovely small silver Georgian vinaigrette by Samuel Pemberton C. 1816. Interior is gilded with a simple pierced grill that opens to show a small sponge on the inside. The vinaigrette has a curved shape to the top and bottom with a floral design on both. Top has a small engraved square with initials that appear to be EFC. Hallmarked on the inside lid. A very pretty piece. Condition: Very good. Closes firmly. No dents. Size: 7/8 X 5/8 X 1/4 inch. |
