Quite a unique small enamel expansion purse with two hand painted panels showing gorgeous floral motifs. One side has a large bouquet of varied multi colored flowers with another bouquet on the back, but somewhat smaller. Colors are are excellent. The sides of the purse are of a red leather, with the accordion inside a delicate pink silk. The paintings are enameled, not on porcelain, with the surround on both edges a gilded embossed metal. A truly exquisite small purse. Condition: Very good. Some wear as shown to the red leather on the bottom. Purse closes solidly. Size: Width- 3 1/8 inches. Height- 2 1/4 inches. |
