A very nice vintage Mauchline Ware Box with a detailed scene of Perth on the top, showing a river, bridges, and a couple of small boats. Entitled "Perth from the Edinburgh Road".
A very attractive piece that was possibly used for pens, pencils, or perhaps for kid gloves. Metal tongue in groove closure. Condition: Very good. Minor finish wear, and the tip of the tongue closure may be off, but the lid still closes firmly. Interior is clean with no stains. Size: 9 3/4 X 3 1/2 X 2 1/2 inches. |
