A very pretty small Asian style silver vinaigrette, or snuff box, in the shape of a shoe with engraved decorative work all over. Design shows a Foo dog face at the front, lotus flowers and leaves on the sides, and a sliding pierced lid that fits neatly into the top. The bottom of the piece has a Chinese signature and the number 35, which is likely 935 silver, as well as the makers mark SW. Very attractive and with exceptional workmanship. Condition: Fine. No scratches or dents. Color bright. Size: 2 1/2 X 5/8 inch. |
