A very lovely cranberry glass vinaigrette with a tested sterling silver top. Ring is marked with a lion. The top is hinged, and when opened, reveals a silver cap with holes in it to provide the vinaigrette with a grill to allow the scent to pass through. There is a small piece of old material in the bottle which may be original to the piece, but I am not sure of this. The silver top is highly repoussé with flowers and scrolls.
A very sweet antique piece. Condition: Very nice. Beautiful deep color to the cranberry glass. Size: height- 1 1/2 inches. |
