A lovely antique cut glass scent bottle from the Victorian era, with the design of a cornucopia, or horn of plenty. The metal top has an elaborate open work design, and around the circumference of the top is an intricate metal work design which extends over the top of the cut glass. This design is repeated on the bottom section. The pictures give a good example of the excellent workmanship in this antique piece. The scent bottle has its original stopper, finger ring, and chain. Condition: Very good. May have been silver plated at one time. Top opens and closes firmly, and the hinge is secure. Size: Length- 5 inches from top to bottom, following the curve. |
