Sales Policy

My #1 priority is to satisfy you, my valued customer. I describe each item as accurately as I can and to the best of my knowledge. I do thorough research on my pieces, so I always make sure to include any interesting and helpful fact or detail in my item descriptions. I determine my prices based on condition, collectible value, and overall quality and workmanship of each piece. I will consider offers, but I ask that the offer be fair and reasonable. Response to your orders and inquiries is made within 48 hours. All purchased items are packaged with care and consideration for safe shipment, and mailed out promptly once payment has cleared.

~All Sales Final~
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please email me within 48 hours and I will do my best to make it right. However, all sales are final, unless the item has been grossly misrepresented. In cases of agreed upon returns, I do require that items be sent back via priority mail, in their original condition, carefully packed, and insured for their full value, within 7 days of their receipt. Shipping and insurance costs are generally not refundable on returns.

~How to Order~
Ordering from TheVintageAdvantage is quick and simple: Select the item{s} you wish to purchase. Then, follow the Order/Inquire prompts from the catalog page. And finally, provide your payment and shipping information.

~Order Confirmation~
I will confirm your order via email within 48 hours, listing the total cost of your purchase, including USPS Priority Mail shipping, with delivery confirmation, and required insurance, as well as a nominal handling charge.

~Payment~
I accept the following methods of payment: Personal Check, Postal Money Order, and Certified Check. Unfortunately, due to unscrupulous business practices on the part of PayPal, I am no longer accepting that method of payment. All payments must be received and cleared within 7 business days of order confirmation before item{s} will be shipped. I will email you when your purchase has been shipped out.

~Shipping + Handling~
As mentioned above, customer shipping costs include USPS Priority Mail postage, delivery confirmation, insurance, and a nominal charge for handling. Insurance is required on all purchases. Although I certainly will assist in dealing with the post office in cases of loss or damage, I cannot be held responsible and no return of money, other than what the post office issues, will be made if item is lost or stolen.

At this time, I ship only within the United States at this time. I will be happy to transact with international buyers, if they have shipping addresses in the States that they can use and can make their payments through PayPal only.

~Please Note~
I do my best to keep any changes in my catalog listings current. However, TheVintageAdvantage cannot assure the availability of every item and will inform you if item has sold, upon inquiring.

~Last, but not Least~
Vintage Mexican and South American jewelry, as well as artisan crafts, are handwrought and, therefore, not perfectly symmetrical. Each piece will show variances in size and shape, which indicate that it is handmade. This, of course, does not constitute damage or defect. Vintage pieces will also show various signs of wear, since they have survived the test of time and been pre-owned. Any actual defect, flaw, or damage will always be noted. Please be sure to carefully study all photos provided, as they are an integral part of the description.
