Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis worked as a book editor at Doubleday & Company for sixteen years, starting in 1978. I worked at Doubleday, as Copy Chief and Associate Manager of Advertising & Promotion, during 1985 to 1987. I was most privileged to work on many of Jackie’s books during that time, and to enjoy a very cordial, professional relationship with her.
