This unusual and commanding, Mette + Finn modernist bracelet hails from 1960's or `70s Denmark. Handwrought in steely, heavy-gauge pewter, it is composed of five deeply arced bars interconnected to open, triangular terminals at each end by oversize jump rings. The triangle elements, in turn, are joined to a soldered O-ring and toggle clasp by similarly large jump rings. The result is a potent work of wearable art, at once curvaceous and robust, kinetic and solid, freeform and industrial. In other words, simply extraordinary! HALLMARKS: METTE + FINN; AERO; DENMARK.
