A 4 ct emerald-cut emerald set 18K yellow gold in the center of this brooch is surrounded by a total of 38 diamonds (3.3 Ct T. W.). The diamonds of varying sizes are cushion-cut and European-cut and set in a silver-topped over 18K yellow gold setting (during this period diamonds were often set in silver over 18K gold as the tools/methods did not yet exist to work with platinum).

18K yellow gold bracelet with large carnelian medallion clasp from Victorian period. The flexible 18k gold link bracelet detaches from the clasp entirely-- there was probably another piece that went to this clasp at one time, a chocker necklace perhaps-- though it is securely linked together by a safety chain. Stunning antique diamond and 14K white gold brooch from the Edwardian period. Beautiful openwork setting with 3 old European cut diamonds. The center diamond is estimated at 1 carat, the 2 side diamonds are approximately 30 points each. Great color estimated to be J-K, clarity is estimated at SI1. The dimensions of the center diamond are 7mm x 6.8mm x approx 3.5mm.
Width of brooch is 2 inches, height 1 3/16 inch, total weight is 5.3 grams.
