George Raft was a superb actor who played gangster roles, which is obvious by the gun he is holding in this poster. Many American movies were dubbed in foreign language, and this Spanish version of Johnny Allegro was printed in Argentina. Andre Daude (1897-1979) was the owner of a piano company and also, the artist of this overhead view of a piano player. This is the second printing (c.1950) of the poster, the original lithograph was printed in 1926. The image is the same, with a different message on the bottom.
