Superbly carved nephrite jade pendant with jade beads on a silver bezel and chain. The jade is somewhat opaque and graduates in color from white to green to dark green. Nice flower design on the jade medallion. The oval medallion is about 1-1/2 x 1-1/8 inch in size. The 18-1/2 inch chain looks handmade, as does the rest of the piece. The bezel is marked: Sterling. Excellent condition.

This beautiful plaster chalkware bust is a statue created by Joe Celona, who was contemporary artist of Esther Hunt. (Hunt was famous for her Asian busts.) Joe Celona (b1860 Italy – d1933 Los Angeles). Plum Blossom was Hunt’s most popular bust and Celona copied it (in reverse). The original paint is intact, except for some wear and chips, as shown. Overall very good condition for a 90-year old plaster bust. The bust measures 9-1/2" tall.
