This is a nice set of jewelry made in the late 1930’s using gold nuggets from the Alaska gold fields and ivory or bone. The brooch is about 2 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches and 1/8 inch thick. The pure gold nugget is about 5/16 inch long by 1/8 inch in diameter. It features a clasp that is marked: “Sterling / Pat. 2066969.” The screw-on earrings are about 1/2 inch in diameter and 1/8 inch thick. This is a hand crafted lapel pin made of 14k yellow gold. It is made in the Arts & Crafts style. The metal is clearly hand cut and hand assembled. The pin clasp is an old clasp used around the turn of the century. Interesting geometric design. Measures about 15/16 inch wide, 11/16 tall and 5/16 thick. Unmarked. About 0.12 TOz total weight. Excellent condition.
