This is an antique silver spoon with an all-over gold wash. The fancy, twisted handle has a beautifully pierced and hand-chased decoration spelling out NEW YORK. The handle is attached to a heart shaped bowl. Measures about 4 inches long. Excellent condition. Simply marked Sterling on the back.

The service is incased in a silk-lined orange velvet presentation box in the shape of a scallop shell.
