This is a great 1930s hand colored photo of Passengers on the Western Pacific Railroad Scenic Express in California. It is framed is an Arts & Crafts frame, which is probably earlier than the photo. The photo is superb, with bright colors, and it is nicely mounted in an old cardboard oval mat. The mat is black with gilt decoration. The frame is a true folk art or trench art gem.
