| Excellent antique pewter plate from the late 1700s. Measures about 8 7/8 inches across and 3/4 inch deep. Excellent condition, having the typical wear and knife scratches from use and two minor dents. There is a mark is on the front rim, as shown: A•B over a tree inside a wreath. This is probably the owner’s shield. On the back are two partly obscured marks. The left mark appears to be circular and have a tree with initials, the second of which is F. The right mark is less visible, but appears to have the number 1791 in it. | |||||||
